Duterte assigns focal person to receive queries on war on drugs

President Rodrigo Duterte has designated a "focal person" tasked to receive inquiries or clarification on the government's campaign against illegal drugs.

On July 4, Duterte signed Presidential Decree No. 5 to designate Office of the President Special Project Assistant Secretary Aurora Ignacio to the post.

"As focal person, she shall also ensure that those offering assistance to the said campaign are immediately acted upon and, whenever necessary, refer the same to the agencies concerned," the document read.
