Comelec chair Bautista’s resignation letter received by Malacañang

Malacañang has received the resignation letter of Commission on Elections chairperson Andres "Andy" Bautista.

The Office of Executive Secretary received a copy of the letter addressed to President Rodrigo Duterte Tuesday afternoon.

Bautista said his resignation would be effective on December 31 to give Duterte sufficient time to choose a replacement. —NB, GMA News
