Participants in annual Oblation Run call for end to killings, Mindanao martial law
Thirty masked members of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity ran naked at the University of the Philippines campus in Diliman on Friday, this time protesting the spate of extrajudicial killings blamed on President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs.
According to a report on "24 Oras", the participants in this year's Oblation Run also called for the lifting of martial law in Mindanao following the liberation of Marawi City from Maute-ISIS bandits.
The fraternity also called for the continuation of the cancelled peace talks with the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army. —NB, GMA News
