Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Thursday advised its passengers to allot ample time to get to the airports, check-in, go through security and immigration checks, and process pre-departure requirements amid the influx of air travelers in time for the holidays.

In an advisory, the carrier said its check-in counters are open three hours before the scheduled time of departure and four hours for international flights.

All check-in counters close 45 minutes before the scheduled time of flights, except those exiting the Middle East, one hour, and Shanghai, 50 minutes.

All check-in counters close 45 minutes before the scheduled time of flights, except those exiting Dubai (one hour) and Shanghai (50 minutes).

Cebu Pacific said it has deployed roving check-in agents in all of the Philippine airports the carrier operates in, including the NAIA Terminal 3 and Terminal 4.

To cut queuing and waiting time, the airline said its passengers may check-in using the Cebu Pacific mobile app or through its website.

It said the mobile and web check-in is available from seven days to four hours before an international flight, and up to one hour before a domestic flight.

Passengers may also use the self-check-in kiosks inside NAIA Terminals 3 and 4 and selected domestic airports to check-in their flights eight hours up to one hour before the scheduled flight departure. —Ted Cordero/KBK, GMA News
