Duterte declares December 8 a special non-working holiday in PHL

President Rodrigo Duterte has declared December 8 of every year a special non-working holiday in the Philippines.
Duterte signed Republic Act No. 10966 on December 23, to honor the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Act originated in the Congress, passed by the House of Representatives on May 2 and by the Senate on December 11.
