Duterte appoints Margie Moran to CCP post
Former beauty queen Margie Moran has been appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte to a post in the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
The Miss Universe 1973 titleholder the former wife of Davao del Norte Representative Antonio "Tonyboy" Floirendo Jr., an ally of Duterte.
Duterte signed her appointment paper as a member of the CCP's board of trustees on January 4. She will serve until June 30.

Duterte has also appointed retired police director Benjamin Magalong to the Philippine National Oil Company as one of the members of its board of directors. According to his appointment paper signed January 4, Magalong will end serve until June 30.
