Duterte meets MILF leaders, BTC, govt negotiators in Davao
President Rodrigo Duterte met with leaders of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) members of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC) and the government peace negotiating panel in Davao City on Tuesday evening.

According to Communications Assistant Secretary Bam Garcia, present during the meeting were Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza and Legislative Affairs Secretary Adelino Sitoy.
Moro Islamic Liberation Chair Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, MILF Vice-Chairman Ghazali Jaafar, and MILF Implementing Panel Chairman Mohagher Iqbal also attended the meeting.
Accompanying the President was Special Assistant to the President Bong Go.
Details of the meeting have yet to be released by Malacañang.
During a speech in Sulu on Monday, Duterte had said he would call for a meeting on the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), which congressional leaders had promised to pass by the end of May 2018. — Margaret Claire Layug/ DVM, GMA News
