PNP chief denies report C4 explosive caused Glorietta blast

Philippine National Police Director General Avelino Razon Jr on Saturday dismissed claims that a powerful explosive C4 caused Friday's blast at the Glorietta shopping mall in Makati City. “Pinapabubulaan po namin ‘yan. The powerful blast, believed to be caused by a bomb, rocked the crowded mall about 1:30 p.m, killing at least nine people and injuring more than a hundred others. The explosion caused extensive damage throughout the Glorietta 2 shopping complex, toppling roofs, destroying walls, and sending debris crashing onto cars outside.
