AFP judge advocate general visits Trillanes at Senate office
Judge Advocate General Colonel Serme Ayuyao went to the office of Senator Antonio Trillanes III on Tuesday evening.
Ayuyao arrived around 7 pm and left 20 minutes after.
He was mum when asked by reporters on the purpose of his visit.
Lawyer Reynaldo Robles, Trillanes' counsel, said he was not aware what was discussed during the meeting.
"Nag-usap sila in private. Siguro I'm not in liberty to disclose kung anuman ang napag usapan nila," he told reporters when asked on the matter.
Earlier in the day, acting Armed Forces chief of staff Lieutenant General Salvador Mison ordered the formation of a new general court martial that will hear the charge against Trillanes.
AFP spokesman Colonel Edgard Arevalo, President Rodrigo Duterte's revocation of the amnesty given to Trillanes in 2010 returns the senator back to the folds of the military. —NB, GMA News
