Mocha won't accept new gov't appointment, still undecided about 2019 run
Mocha Uson won't accept another appointment from President Rodrigo Duterte after resigning as assistant secretary of the Philippine Communications Operations Office on Wednesday.
Uson made the categorical pronouncement in a live interview with Mel Tiangco on "24 Oras" hours after her resignation from the PCOO post.
Uson was a vocal online advocate for the Duterte campaign in the 2016 elections, before joining the government as a board member of the Movie and Television Review And Classification Board (MTRCB) in January 2017.
In May 2017, she moved to the PCOO post, where she drew criticism for allegedly spreading disinformation and "fake news" on her personal blog.
But while she wasn't open to any appointive post, Uson said she is still undecided about whether to run for office in next year's elections.
—JST, GMA News
