The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday cried foul over the test questions given to Grade Two pupils from a still unidentified elementary school.

A report by Tina Panganiban Perez in 24 Oras showed a photo of the test questions, which read, "Abusado ang mga pulis," "Pulang-pula ang dugo na nagkalat sa sahig," "Di-konstitusyonal ang pagpatay," among others.

Photos of the said grade school test paper have reportedly gone viral in the social media.

"Nililigaw nila o nilalason ang kaisipan ng mga estudyante," National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Guillermo Eleazar said.

Philippine National Police chief Director General Oscar Albayalde said that teachers, as the second parents of children, should educate them on what is good for the nation.

"Tayong mga magulang at tayong mga guro we are considered the second parents of our children so let's teach them and educate them on what is right and what is good for the nation," Albayalde said.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is currently trying to identify the school where the papers were distributed.

Education Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla said that such incidents would be difficult to control because teachers had their own approach to teaching.

"Ang hirap dito ay hindi natin ito makokontrol dahil nasa teacher yung kanyang approach, methodology or kung ano yung intention niya sa paglagay ng test questionnaires dito," Sevilla said. —Jessica Bartolome/NB, GMA News
