Four people were injured when two vessels collided in Talisay Cebu on Thursday night.

In a report aired over “24 Oras,” the Philippine Coast Guard Central Visayas office said Bohol-bound M/V Fastcat M-11 with 70 passengers on board collided with M/V Ocean United owned by Oceanic Shipping Lines.

M/V Fastcat's middle portion was destroyed but the navigators of the vessel still managed to tow it back to the Cebu City pier.

M/V Fastcast's owners already reached out to the aggrieved passengers and have provided them financial assistance.

Likewise, M/V Fastcat is also conducting a probe on the incident.

The Oceanic Shipping Lines is yet to issue a statement on the collision. — Llanesca T. Panti/MDM, GMA News
