Brownout interrupts Duterte speech at inauguration of Panglao airport

A brief power outage marred President Rodrigo Duterte's inauguration of the P8.9-billion ‘green airport’ in Panglao, Bohol.

According to a tweet by GMA News’ Joseph Morong, the brownout hit while Duterte was delivering his speech.

Power went back on after two minutes and the President resumed his speech.

In a comment on GMA News' Facebook post, the Department of Transportation said,  "The good news is: Power was restored after two minutes."

"Tuloy ang programa, Bohol Panglao International Airport, bukas na!" it added. —NB, GMA News
