Duterte spends Christmas with family in Davao City

President Rodrigo Duterte spent the holidays with some of his family members in Davao City.

A photo posted on Facebook by former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte showed the Chief Executive seated on the dining table along with his youngest son, Sebastian, on Christmas Eve (Monday).

Joining them in the photo are Duterte’s former wife Elizabeth Zimmerman, presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, the spouses of the President’s children and grandchildren. 

"Gikan sa amoang pamilya. Daghang salamat ug Merry Christmas kaninyong tanan (From my family, thank you very much and Merry Christmas to everyone),” Paolo Duterte said in the caption.

Duterte and Zimmerman ended their 27-year marriage in 2000. The President is currently in a relationship with Honeylet Avanceña, the mother of his teenage daughter, Veronica. — Virgil Lopez/RSJ, GMA News
