Palace welcomes ‘good’ satisfaction rating for Duterte Cabinet
Malacañang on Friday welcomed the results of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey which showed the Cabinet maintaining a “good” public satisfaction rating.
The Cabinet's net satisfaction rating was up by 3 points from +32 in September 2018 to +35 in December 2018, the SWS said.
This was the highest since the good +38 recorded in December 2017.
Public satisfaction rating on the performance of the Senate, meanwhile, registered at "very good," while it was "good" for the House of Representatives and the Supreme Court.
“The satisfactory rating given to the President’s Cabinet certainly is a source of inspiration for us to work harder to give full realisation to the commitment of President Rodrigo Duterte of providing comfortable life to the Filipinos,” presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.
“Complacency has no room in the remaining three and a half years of the administration as we marshall all our energies and talents in assisting the President give fruition to his single-minded goal of bringing about the desired changes in our society,” he added.
Panelo also urged Filipinos to “set aside our differences and create a chain of harmony and peace that will propel our nation to development and progress.”
“Let us be each brother’s keeper and let love reign amongst us,” he said. —NB, GMA News
