Senatorial candidates continue campaign during Holy Week

Candidates running for senatorial posts continued to campaign in the last few days, heading to several places across the country during the Holy Week.

According to a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) candidates campaigned in Batangas on Holy Wednesday, April 17.

Among those who joined the sortie were Freddie Aguilar, Rafael "Raffy" Alunan III, Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, Pilar Juliana "Pia" Cayetano, Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, Zajid "Dong" Mangudadatu, Maria Imelda "Imee" Marcos, Aquilino Martin "Koko" Pimentel III, Francis Tolentino, and Cynthia Villar.

They were also joined by Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go who also campaigned in Agusan del Sur; and Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito who also visited Sultan Kudarat.

Senatorial aspirant Jiggy Manicad likewise visited Sultan Kudarat on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Grace Poe was reported to have campaigned in Zamboanga del Norte.

On Saturday, Leody de Guzman campaigned in Batangas while Dan Roledo did the rounds in Sampaloc. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/LBG, GMA News
