Partial, unofficial count sees Villar, Poe still ahead in Senate race
Partial, unofficial count as of Friday afternoon saw reelectionist Senators Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe still leading the May 2019 Senate race and the rest of the so-called Magic 12 still maintaining their previous spots.
Based on the partial unofficial count coming from the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) transparency server as of 3:03 p.m., with 97.89% of the Election Returns processed, Villar has 25,040,325 votes while Poe has 21,864,211.
Landing third was Former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, followed by Taguig Representative Pia Cayetano, and former Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa.
Still in the 12th spot was Senator Nancy Binay with 14,410,240 votes.

Placing 13th was Senator JV Ejercito (14,184,005 votes), followed by opposition bet Senator Bam Aquino (14,055,212) at 14th, and Jinggoy Estrada (11,269,071) at 15th.
The latest transparency server results reflect 46,761,042 votes out of 63,662,481 registered.
In the official count, Aquino was included in the so-called Magic 12 while Revilla was on 13th spot as of Thursday night. Villar and Poe also lead the race.
