Alvarez reelected as Davao del Norte 1st district rep
Pantaleon Alvarez was reelected as representative of the first legislative district of Davao del Norte in the recently concluded midterm elections.
In a statement on Friday, Alvarez expressed gratitude to the people of the first district of Davao del Norte for electing him again for a second term, noting that the true will of the people won in the recent polls.
"I am grateful to my constituents from the 1st District of Davao del Norte for re-electing me for a 2nd term. I am humbled with the trust they have reposed on me and I will continue the historic developments and progress we have achieved during the past three years," Alvarez said.
He also thanked his constituents for electing other candidates under the ruling PDP-Laban party.
"Definitely their votes shall bring forth change to our beloved province. As your elected leaders, we shall never cease working hard in providing the best and genuine service," he said.
Alvarez also expressed gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte "for their leadership, both at the national and local level, in making sure that the 2019 elections in Davao del Norte was peaceful, orderly, and fair."
Alvarez called on the public to rally together for the cause of unity and progress in our Davao Region and the whole Philippines.
"Let us consolidate our efforts in making true change and uplift the lives of our countrymen," he said.
