Canadian trash now in Subic for fumigation
All 69 containers of trash from Canada have already been brought to Subic to be fumigated before the shipments will sail overseas, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
In a series of tweets on his Twitter account Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro "Teddy Boy" Locsin, Jr. said the shipments were already in Subic as of Sunday, May 26.
"Hi ho hi ho. We’re still fumigato. But all 69 containers are in Subic yo. Don’t get in my way or I’ll screw yo. Dry," Locsin said.

The Canadian government last week said it has already chosen the company that will be in charge of bringing the garbage back to Canada, with the process expected to be completed by June.
On Sunday, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo confirmed that government officials have been directed to refrain from issuing travel authorities for official trips to Canada.
He clarified on Monday that the ban would be lifted once the shipments are shipped back to the North American country.
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier threatened to dump the trash on Canadian beaches should the country fail to recall the shipments by early May.
Last month, he also said told Canada to take back its trash, else risk going to "war" with the Philippines.
For its part, Canada earlier said it is working with the local government for a "timely resolution" to remove the shipments from Philippine lands.
In 2017, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said "legal barriers" prevented their government from taking the shipments back.
Just last week, Customs officials discovered trash shipments from Hong Kong and Australia which have illegally entered the Philippines. Duterte has yet to release any orders on such shipments. —LDF, GMA News
