Duterte appoints ex-PNP director Gregorio Pimentel PDEA deputy director-general

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed retired Philippine National Police director Gregorio Pimentel as deputy director general of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Pimentel, who was appointed on June 4, replaced former PDEA deputy director general Jesus Fajardo, according to the document released by Malacañang on Monday.

The President also made appointments to the People's Television Network, Inc., Philippine Commission on Women, Mindanao Development Authority, Professional Regulation Commission, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agrarian Reform, Land Registration Authority and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. —NB, GMA News
