There are 51 party-list groups who won seat(s) in the House of Representatives during the May polls.
The law provides a party-list group that is able to get at least 2% of the total number of votes cast in the party-list race will be entitled to at least one House seat.
Those which will breach the 2% threshold will be entitled to additional seats proportionate to the votes they received, but the seats for every winning party-list group shall not exceed three.
Those who failed to reach the 2% threshold, however, may still secure a seat in the House of Representatives since the party-list law also requires that 20 percent of the members of the House should come from the party-list ranks.
The nominees of the winning party-list groups cannot assume their post by June 30 this year if they do not have the certificate of proclamation issued by the Comelec.
