Bongbong apologizes to mom's birthday guests downed by suspected food poisoning
Bongbong Marcos on Wednesday apologized for the suspected food poisoning that downed at least 240 guests during the birthday celebration of his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
Over 200 people have been given medical attention due to suspected food poisoning after attending Imelda's 90th birthday bash which was held at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Among the food served in the event were siopao, spaghetti, and pork and chicken adobo with egg. Bottled waters were also distributed.
Bongbong said that the Marcos camp is coordinating closely with the affected guests and that an investigation is ongoing.
— MDM, GMA News
