Packed meals at Imelda’s party were delivered early morning

The packed meals that downed over 200 party guests at former First Lady Imelda Marcos' birthday celebration were delivered at the venue early in the morning on Wednesday, according to documents detailing the schedule for the event.

A report by Lei Alviz on GMA's 24 Oras on Thursday shows a logistical note for the birthday program in Ynares Sports Arena stating that the delivery of packed food items was at 5 a.m. while their distribution was scheduled at 8:10 a.m.

This information matches the personal accounts of victims who said that they received the food at around 8 a.m.

The delivery of another batch of packed meals was scheduled at 8:30 a.m.

The same note stated that a certain Loida was in-charge of the food delivery.

The event organizer said that one Loida Hernandez donated 2,000 sets of packed food.

Loida previously told the police that she was only in charge of the delivery and that she can no longer remember those who donated the food.

GMA News tried to interview her but she was not answering phone calls.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.

The report also said that only seven out of the over 200 victims are still in hospital. Most of them are senior citizens.
