Duterte appoints new DBM, SEC, BTA, Insurance Commission officials

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed new judges and officials in several government agencies, according to a list released by Malacañang on Tuesday.

Duterte named lawyer Lloyd Christopher Lao undersecretary of the Department of Budget and Management. Lao is currently the chief executive officer of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board.

The President appointed Agrarian Reform Undersecretary Karlo Bello as commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission and Diamila Ramos and Ziaurrahman Adiong as members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority.

Also appointed were Ernesto Gonzales as  undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture and Ricky dela Torre as assistant secretary at the Office of the Cabinet Secretary.

Former Justice undersecretary Erickson Balmes was named Insurance Commission deputy commissioner while several new judges were assigned to the Bicol region.
