Family of Antonio Sanchez arrives at the Senate
The family of convicted ex-Calauan mayor Antonio Sanchez arrived at the Senate Tuesday morning to attend the hearing on the supposed release of their patriarch and implementation of good conduct time allowance (GCTA) law.
Present were Sanchez’s wife Elvira; children Councilor Ave Marie Tonee Sanchez-Alcid, former councilor Allan Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, and Marie Antonelvie Sanchez.

Allan earlier claimed that Bureau of Corrections director general Nicanor Faeldon assured them of the release of their father.
During the hearing Monday, Faeldon denied signing release papers for Sanchez but he admitted he signed a memorandum for his release.
He said he recalled the memorandum after the public uproar on the issue. — RSJ, GMA News
