‘Tuko’ interrupts Duterte’s speech in Capiz

President Rodrigo Duterte’s had to briefly stop his speech in Capiz on Thursday when a sound coming from a gecko (tuko) was heard in the background.

Duterte was criticizing human rights groups opposed to his controversial war on drugs when a loud gecko sound distracted him.

He then pointed to someone on the stage who he said might have brought a "pet" gecko to the Camp General Macario Peralta, Jr. in Jamindan, Capiz, where the decommissioning of 727 former rebels and their firearms was held.

Duterte was previously pestered by a mosquito, fly and cockroach while delivering a speech.
