A sequestered property of the Marcos family has been sold to a developer and is now scheduled for demolition.
According to Jessica Soho in State of the Nation Address, based on documents showed by Baguio City Assistant Architect Johnny Degay, the demolition of the building was approved on January 2019.
Baguio City Councilor Mylen Yaranon, meanwhile, denied knowledge that the property had been sold. The transaction as to the sale of the property will be reviewed.
The three-story Swiss-inspired building is located in a high-end residential area near the official summer residence of the president.
