Palace employees to get P60K Christmas bonus
Employees under the Office of the President will receive a P60,000 bonus this Christmas season.
Assistant Executive Secretary Annalyn Tolentino of the Social Secretary’s Office made the announcement during the Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Monday evening in Malacañang that was attended by President Rodrigo Duterte and some Cabinet officials.
In his speech, Duterte thanked the OP employees “for demonstrating unwavering commitment and the highest standards of professionalism in public service.”
“With your genuine desire to serve our country, this administration was able to fulfill its promise to the Filipino people. Your dedication towards the work that you do is truly inspiring,” he said.

Situated in front of the Kalayaan Building, the Christmas tree stands 40 feet high and is composed of 1,235 lanterns.
