Nemenzo named UP Diliman chancellor

The University of the Philippines Board of Regents has appointed on Monday mathematics professor Dr. Fidel Nemenzo as chancellor of UP Diliman.

The announcement was made by UP President Danilo Concepcion. 

Nemenzo was the vice chancellor for research and development prior to his new post.

Nemenzo is the 12th chancellor of UP Diliman, succeeding Professor Michael Tan who served two terms from 2014 to 2020.

The UP Board of Regents favored Nemenzo over College of Engineering Dean Professor Ferdinand Manegdeg.
