Veteran journalist Emil Jurado recently launched the book on his memoirs, "The Road Never Ends", at the Manila Golf and Country Club.

Jurado, now 92, wrote on his life from when he was a child in Abra, to his studies at the Ateneo De Manila; from his career as a lawyer to becoming a journalist, who covered the country's Presidents and other influential people.

Felipe L. Gozon, chairman and CEO of GMA Network, Inc., called the book, "an honest portrayal of a man who has been a journalist for almost seven decades... someone who has not only seen but has been part of the Philippine history in the making."

Jurado is a columnist of the Manila Standard, the newspaper he co-founded with journalist Rod Reyes in 1987. He is the chairman-emeritus of the paper's editorial board.

A multi-awarded journalist, Jurado is also chairman-emeritus of the Manila Overseas Press Club and a lifetime member of the National Press Club.

Aside from being a lawyer and a journalist, Jurado also taught as a professor at the Ateneo and at the Philippine Law School, where he took his Bachelor of Laws.
