GMA News TV back on air beginning Saturday, March 21, 2020

GMA News TV is back on air starting March 21, Saturday.

It made the announcement on Friday after temporarily signing off due to the current state of calamity.

The new schedule is as follows:

Saturdays:
6:00 am - 6:15 pm - Dobol B sa News TV

Sundays:
6:00 am - 6:10 pm - Dobol B sa News TV

Weekdays:
6:00 am - 8:00pm - Dobol B sa News TV

"Dobol B sa News TV" will simulcast "24 Oras" and "24 Oras Weekend" when both newscasts are on air.

On March 17, the entire Luzon was placed under enhanced community quarantine to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The Philippines, currently under a state of calamity, has over 217 confirmed cases and a total of 17 deaths due to COVID-19, according to the Department of Health.
