Duterte calls doctors who died in war vs. COVID-19 heroes

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday night praised the doctors  who succumbed to COVID-19 in the line of duty .

"I am saddened by the news that the virus has claimed the lives of our doctors along the way. Lahat po sila ay bayani," Duterte said in a nationally televised address. -NB, GMA News
