Teacher uses his artworks to share good vibes amid COVID-19 crisis
A young school teacher in Bulacan has found a positive and fulfilling means to drive away the boredom brought about by the COVID-19 lockdown --paint, paint, and share his works on social media to transmit good vibes and encourage others to relive their passion in the middle of the country's health crisis.
In a post on the Department of Education (DepEd) Facebook account, teacher Rafael Martinez of Bulacan province's Guiguinto Vocational National High was quoted as saying that he wants to share his talent and messages about the bright side of things amid the public health emergency.
To honor and give due regard to the heroism of health care professionals in the frontlines in the war against COVID-19, he posted a painting of Dr. Raul Raja who died while saving others from the deadly virus.
The DepEd post also shared Martinez's message for COVID-19 patients in one of his posts which reads, "Kumusta po kayo? Kami dito sa labas ay patuloy na lumalaban at nanalangin. Sana sa susunod nating kumustahan ay ganito na... 'Kumusta po kayo?' 'Heto, magaling na ako.'" —LBG, GMA News
