Citizens, organizations pay tribute to COVID-19 frontliners

Appreciation and gratitude poured in for the country's health workers, security guards, utility workers, supermarket personnel and other people who run essential establishments while most of the population remained at home due to the COVID-19 quarantine.

Through dances, chants, cheers and claps, the frontliners were recognized for their gallant efforts to face the threat of the disease every day.

Various citizens and organizations paid tribute to the country’s frontliners in their own different and amazing ways.

From policemen dancing to different organizations donating food, equipment and other necessities, including cards, Filipinos surely know how to motivate one another.

Some even organized a parade, while offered a simple song.

For the frontliners, these little gestures are a big boost to their morale.
