Long lines build up at LTO office on first day of resumption of operation

Long lines of registrants formed around several offices of the Land Transportation Office as it resumed operations on Wednesday.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert,” many individuals lined up before sunrise at the LTO’s central office in Quezon City.

The high volume of people forced people to forego social distancing measures against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Due to this, some were just asked to return some other day.

Among those who came to the LTO offices were individuals registering their newly-bought motorcycles amid the lack of public transportation.

Moreover, LTO urged the public to avail the online appointment through its Facebook page to avoid the long lines.—AOL, GMA News
