Health facilities not disposing waste properly may get licenses revoked — DOH

The Department of Health on Wednesday said health facilities that do not dispose of their waste materials properly will face suspension or revocation of license.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert,” this came after CCTV footage of a sidecar accidentally dropping used rapid test kits along Loyola Dela Fuente Street in Sampaloc, Manila on Tuesday night went viral.

Earlier, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said they already have a person of interest who may be able to tell them where the rapid test kits came from.

In a tweet by Isa Avendaño-Umali of Super Radyo dzBB, Moreno warned that establishments responsible for improper waste management may face complaints or shutdown. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
