PNP reports 90 new COVID-19 recoveries; total at 4,500

The number of Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel who recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 rose to 4,500 on Saturday as the police force announced it had 90 new recoveries.

The PNP also announced that 37 more personnel had tested positive for the illness, bringing the total to 5,705, while the number of fatalities remained at 17.

At present, there are a total of 1,188 active cases within the agency.

Meanwhile, the Philippines reported a total of 301,256 COVID-19 cases with 232,906 recoveries and 5,284 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
