DepEd: Parents can get help with modules from learner support aides

Parents who have trouble teaching their children their distance-learning lessons may ask for help from learner support aides or volunteer teachers, the Department of Education (DepEd) said Friday.

According to Sandra Aguinaldo’s report on “24 Oras,” the DepEd said children needed guidance when they did not understand the learning materials.

The DepEd was confident that children will learn as long as they read the modules.

“‘Yung self-learning modules, parang teacher na ‘yan. Self-contained ‘yan. ‘Yung mga instructions nandiyan na lahat. So parang may kausap siyang teacher habang ginagamit ang module,” San Antonio said. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
