OVP joins rescue efforts in areas affected by Typhoon Ulysses
The Office of the Vice President has joined rescue efforts for people trapped in areas flooded by Typhoon Ulysses.
Vice President Leni Robredo on Twitter called out for rubber boats that can be lent to local government units that have been "overwhelmed" with calls for rescue.
All calls for rescue are noted and sent to the different rescue teams. Thank you to Mayor Fresnedi of Muntinglupa for offering to lend their two rubber boats. We’re looking for more who can lend.

She later thanked Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi for offering to lend two rubber boats, and said they are looking for more who can lend.
Robredo's Twitter account reported there were rescue operations at the Marigold and Estrella Heights subdivisions in Rodriguez, Rizal on Thursday afternoon.
In another tweet, they reported that rescuers, with the help of Army and Air Force personnel, had rescued a stroke patient. The patient was provided with oxygen before being taken to the hospital, they said.
The vice president tweeted earlier on Thursday that "many people were trapped by floodwaters inside their houses" in Bicol, a region that was also battered by Super Typhoon Rolly.
Spent the entire night answering calls for rescue in Bicol. Many people trapped by floodwaters inside their houses. Complaints that they were not warned enough. Same thing is happening here now -Marikina, Rizal, etc.
