Offices of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in the National Capital Region (NCR) will continue to be closed this week, in line with the extension of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the NCR Plus bubble.

In an advisory on Sunday, the LTFRB said offices will be closed from April 5 to April 9, but enforcement and monitoring teams will continue to be deployed to ensure that protocols are followed by Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.

"Bagamat magkakaroon pa rin ng skeletal workforce and LTFRB, ipinagbibigay alam ng ahensya ng walang magiging transakysyon para sa publiko ang mga opisina sa mga nasabing araw ng Abril," the advisory read.

(While the LTFRB will continue operating a skeleton workforce, we are announcing that there will be no transactions in the agency during the said dates.)

The LFTRB said concerns can be reported to its 24/7 hotline 1342 or through its email address pacdl@ltfrb.gov.ph. Questions and transactions for the NCR may also be forwarded to the Public Transport Online Processing System (PTOPS).

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Jr. over the weekend announced the extension of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) for at least a week. The restrictions covering NCR Plus were initially scheduled to last only until Sunday, April 4. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
