Duterte arrives at Batasan for his final SONA

President Rodrigo Duterte has arrived at the Batasang Pambansa Complex where he would deliver his sixth and final State of the Nation Address (SONA), Super Radyo dzBB's Tuesday Niu reported on Monday.

The report said Duterte arrived via a helicopter at 3:55 p.m. His SONA is set at 4 p.m.

Wearing Barong Tagalog and a face mask, Duterte was welcomed by Senate President Vicente Sotto III and Speaker Lord Allan Velasco, as well as by some  Cabinet officials. Live music was provided by the Philharmonic Orchestra.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only a limited number of guests were physically present at the venue to witness the president's address. Others will be watching via Zoom. —KBK, GMA News
