Duterte appoints new PSG commander

President Rodrigo Duterte has named Colonel Randolph Cabangbang as the next Presidential Security Group commander.

This was confirmed by PSG spokesperson Major Zeerah Blanche Lucrecia.

Cabangbang, who will replace PSG commander Brigadier General Jesus Durante III, is a graduate of master of military and defense studies from the Australian National University.

He was the former chief of staff of the Philippine Army 2nd Infantry Division.

He also served as a chief of staff of the PSG from September 2019 to August 2020. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
