Why Heidi Mendoza thinks COA audit reports are like break-up letters

Former Commissioner Heidi Mendoza on Thursday defended the Commission on Audit's annual reports on government agencies from criticisms that they prematurely put officials in a bad light.

On "The Mangahas Interviews", Mendoza tackled issues about the COA observations amid the series of news reports on deficiencies in spending observed in some government agencies.

"Ang audit report parang break-up letter," Mendoza told veteran journalist Malou Mangahas.
