CA confirms appointments, nomination of 40 AFP officials

The Commission on Appointments on Wednesday confirmed one nomination and 39 ad interim appointments of senior officials from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The CA made the approval after the committee on national defense, chaired by Cavite Representative Luis Ferrer IV, sponsored the following ad interim appointments on the plenary:

• Joel Sobrera to the rank of Colonel, Philippine Army
• James Sababan to the rank of Colonel, Philippine Army
• Jones Brisal Otida to the rank of Colonel, Philippine Army
