No wastage in handling of COVID-19 vaccines –Pharmaserv Express

Logistics firm Pharmaserv Express on Monday said that no COVID-19 vaccines were wasted under their watch, adding that it imposed safety measures in the storage and distribution of the jabs.

"From Day One of the country’s vaccine rollout, PharmaServ Express assures the Filipino people that we have always ensured the integrity of vaccines were intact and maintained," PharmaServ Express President Andrian Perez wrote in an e-mailed statement to the media.

The logistics company's statement came after the Department of Health (DOH) said in a previous House hearing that more than 4,500 doses of COVID-19 vaccines had gone to waste.

Most of the government's vaccines are being transported to the PharmaServ Express storage facility in Marikina City

Nevertheless, Pharmaserv said it would continue to work hard to provide "quality and dependable cold-chain management service" to all Filipinos. — DVM, GMA News
