Senator Richard Gordon on Tuesday sought the arrest of two personalities who allegedly had links with Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation, the firm that bagged billions worth of government procurement contracts for COVID-19 supplies.

During the resumption of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee's inquiry into the controversial purchase of COVID-19 items, Gordon presented the passport photos of one Jayson Uson and a certain Gerald Cruz.

Gordon said that the two individuals were connected to the firms of former Presidential Economic Adviser Michael Yang.

At itong si Uson... mayroon na kaming litrato, ibinigay ng Department of Foreign Affairs," Gordon said.

(I'm again calling on our President: If possible, have Lao and his companions arrested. You appointed them, and they can't seem to be caught. And Uson... we have his picture. We gave it to the Department of Foreign Affairs.)

(Gerald Cruz and Jayson Uson, who are now in hiding, are officials of Pharmally or with companies with links to Pharmally. I will show their passport photos.)

According to the senator, Uson is the president of Filipinas 168 Shopping Mall, Yangtze Group Trade, and Paili Holdings Corp. On the other hand, Cruz is a stockholder of Filipinas 168 Shopping Mall, corporate secretary of Pharmally Biological, and corporate secretary of the Yangtze Group Trade.

(We have information that Uson is in Japan. We will coordinate with the Philippine embassy in Japan to locate Uson.)

(I'm asking those who are watching, the public, if you know these people let the Blue Ribbon Committee know. These two need to be caught so we can have a full picture of what happened.)

Meanwhile, three people with the name of Jason Uson were presented during the panel hearing but they were not in any way connected with Pharmally. — DVM, GMA News
