Comelec removes one Eleksyon 2022 presidential aspirant

Gerald Arcega has been removed from Comelec's latest list of presidential aspirants.

The Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) trimmed its current list of presidential bets from 11 to 10, while the number of vice presidential candidates remains at nine.

Presidential aspirant Gerald Arcega has been removed from the latest list. The remaining qualified presidentiables are (in alphabetical order):

Abella, Ernie
De Guzman, Leody
Domagoso, Isko Moreno
Gonzales, Norberto
Lacson, Ping
Mangondato, Faisal
Marcos, Bongbong
Montemayor, Jose Jr.
Pacquiao, Manny Pacman
Robredo, Leni

The vice presidential aspirants still on the list are (in alphabetical order):

Atienza, Lito
Bello, Walden
David, Rizalito
Duterte, Sara
Lopez, Manny SD
Ong, Doc Willie
Pangilinan, Kiko
Serapio, Carlos
Sotto, Vicente

The list of senatorial candidates still includes 64 aspirants.
