Afternoon schedule on 1st day of Bar exam adjusted
The Supreme Court has adjusted by a few minutes the afternoon schedule on the first day of the Bar examinations.
In a bar bulletin, Justice Associate Marvic Leonen said the examinations will be held from 1:50 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. on Friday, February 4.
“The schedule change will be applied to all local testing centers. Again, the ten-minute adjustment will only be for the first day,” Leonen said.
The previous schedule was from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“The lunch/ study period from the end of the first examination will not be affected,” Leonen said.
According to the SC, adjustment was made amid requests to avoid rush-hour overcrowding and to give examinees ample time to rest between Bar exam dates.
Leonen said it was also prompted by the religious need of one of the testing centers whose Sabbath starts sunset on Friday and ends sunset on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the morning examination hours on February 4 as well as the second day of the examinations will proceed as scheduled.—AOL, GMA News
