A total of 33 cities and municipalities and 399 barangays have granular lockdowns.
Most of these barangays were from Region 1 with 166, followed by Cordillera with 103.
There were 1,320 households and 2,512 individuals affected by these quarantine restrictions.
The Cordillera has the most number of households and individuals under a granular lockdown with 551 and 1,022 respectively.
Local government units (LGUs) decide whether to impose or lift a granular lockdown on a house, compound, street, or building based on the number of infections reported.
Granular lockdowns are micro-level area COVID-19 quarantines for "critical zones" in LGUs.
To ensure security and adherence to the minimum health standards, the PNP deployed 596 police officers in all of the affected areas. The majority of these policemen or 346 personnel were from PRO 4A, followed by 117 personnel from PRO 1.
Forty-four personnel, on the other hand, were from the NCR Police Office.
