Bongbong Marcos attends another interview as he skipped KBP forum
Presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. had an interview with television host Korina Sanchez on Friday, the same day of the KBP Presidential Candidates Forum which the former senator declined to attend.
Marcos was seen facing a pre-recorded interview with Sanchez in an Instagram story of the former senator's official account. Screenshots of Marcos, who seemed to be having a cooking segment with Sanchez, also spread online.
Attorney Vic Rodriguez, Marcos' spokesman, confirmed the interview with Sanchez.
"Yes, and that is just but one of the many activities we have in the full schedule of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos today," Rodriguez said in a Viber message.
In the official Facebook account of Sanchez's Rated Korina, it was announced that five presidentiables have been interviewed by the television host for the show's presidentiables special. Marcos was apparently the last to be interviewed.
Sanchez said among the questions she asked Marcos were about Charter Change and if he is a dictator.
Sanchez also asked Marcos if his presidency will be similar to his father’s leadership and if he is disqualifiable.
He was also asked if he is ready should he be disqualified even if he wins the elections and be replaced by his running mate, Sara Duterte.
The host also asked the presidential bet about his stand on illegal drugs and anti-dynasty bills.
Sanchez said they also cooked Pinakbet and Ilocos-style Bagnet during the show.
Marcos' camp earlier said he did not attend the KBP forum because of conflict in his schedule.
He also refused to join the interview with GMA Network's veteran journalist Jessica Soho as he accused her of being "biased." He believes that a "biased" media is a media that is "anti-Marcos."
In a separate interview, Marcos defended himself, saying he is not a coward just because he did not join in The Jessica Soho's Presidential Interviews.—AOL, GMA News
